8th Annual Long Island Beauty Ball

Mondays Cancer Care hosted the 8th Annual Long Island Beauty Ball, on Monday, April 28th, 2025 at Flowerfield Celebrations. The event, sponsored by New York Cancer & Blood Specialists, honored MaryAnn Fragola, DNP, ANPc, ACHPN, New York Cancer & Blood Specialists RN, Alexis Armenti, Bellami and Sachem Central Teachers’ Association.

The 3rd Annual Pink Pumpkin 5K Run/Walk brought our community together like never before — and we are thrilled to share that we more than doubled our participation from last year! Over 400 runners and walkers filled the streets of Sayville, supported by countless volunteers, families, friends, and cheer squads along the route.

Mondays are special for people going through cancer on Long Island. Free beauty and wellness services are offered by a nonprofit organization. Monday began a new chapter, with the first barbershop joining the effort in pampering men. A cancer diagnosis is hard enough. Then add in the loss of hair from chemo.
